Kaat Hermans is a streetcornerworker in Ghent, Belgium and writes about the stories she hears as part of her every day job. We can call them stories, but they are actually real lives of people living in the most difficult circumstances imaginable. And this, in a “Western World” country like Belgium. This is more than a poem or a video, it’s a cry for help, a message to hear each other and to be there for a future we can all carry and embrace.
